Year-End Reporting Reminder

January 26, 2015

Year-End reports covering activity through December 31 are due Saturday, January 31.  Please note that the FEC does not have authority to extend filing deadlines, even when they fall on weekends or holidays. Filers should plan accordingly. Reports sent by registered, certified or overnight mail must be postmarked no later than January 31, and paper filings sent by other means must be received by close of business on the last business day before the deadline (i.e., Friday, January 30). Electronic filers have until 11:59 p.m. EST on January 31 to submit their reports on time. Staff in the Reports Analysis Division and Electronic Filing Office will be available until 8:00 p.m. EST on January 30 to answer questions regarding the content and filing of reports. To reach RAD, call 1-800-424-9530 (press 5) or 202-694-1130. For help with technical issues relating to electronic filing, dial the same toll-free number and press 4. The E-Filing Office can also be reached locally at 202-694-1307. An additional note: Authorized committees for 2014 candidates who were not in the general election must file a Post-Election Detailed Summary Page [Instructions] with this report.
