Special Election Update

November 12, 2013

There are several special elections on the calendar, including races for House seats in Alabama, Florida and Massachusetts, and a Senate seat in New Jersey. Candidates in these elections, as well as quarterly-filing political committees that make previously undisclosed contributions or expenditures in connection with these elections, must file special pre- and post-election reports, some of which are due in the next few weeks. Go to https://transition.fec.gov/info/report_dates_2013.shtml#special for filing dates and more information on special election reporting.
