DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8105:1. Dismiss the allegation that Representative Katherine Porter accepted a prohibited corporate contribution in violation of 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d).2. Dismiss the allegation that Katie Porter for Congress and Alexander Warren, in his official capacity as treasurer accepted a prohibited corporate contribution in violation of 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d).3. Dismiss the allegations in the Complaint that University of California, Irvine made a prohibited corporate contribution in violation of 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(b). 4. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in theFirst General Counsel’s Report dated April 26, 2024. 5. Close the file effective 30 days from the date of certification of this vote (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).6. Approve the appropriate letters.
